Pricing & Ordering Information

Pricing: The current $15 kit price includes shipping and handling for any destination within Canada and the United States (except for rush orders-see ordering below). Each kit includes everything needed to create your own erotic cross stitch: instructions for first-timers, coded pattern, aida cloth, embroidery threads, and one needle. (If you have more money than time, I will stitch the kit or kits of your choice for $100 each, and send you the unframed finished needlework.)

Ordering: You may email your order in advance of posting payment, otherwise, post me a list of the kit(s) you would like and include a cheque or money order made out to "Paula Maloney". All orders go out as quickly as I can manage, currently that means within 5 days of receiving payment. Following the fine tradition of naughty correspondence, kits are sent out in a plain envelope.

For a RUSH order (2 working days by post), of up to 20 kits, there is an additional charge of $10 per order. If you are ordering more than 20 kits, contact me and I will calculate by specific weight. To receive your kit(s) overnight, contact me through email about current postal or licensed courier rates.

Discounts: There is a 5% discount for 10 kits or more. Please feel free to contact me about additional special bulk order discounts or wholesaleing.

Meet the Artist

FreshXS started a few years ago with my first alteration of a mass-produced cross stitch kit. Since then I have stitched more alterations, such as a sunflower with one eye, and a dead dog. Anything that would subvert the sugary, and often childish, needlework kits that were available.

In April of 2004 an annual erotic art show was coming up. I decided to do something with cross stitch since it is such an unexpected medium for erotica. The miniature needleworks were placed in hand-made matchbooks whose fronts featured one of my hand carved relief prints. I wandered through the opening night crowd with a tray attached to a strap around my neck, selling my wares just like the cigar/cigarette girls of times past.

In June 2005 the FreshXS needleworks were exhibited at Xchanges Gallery in Victoria as part of a group show called "The Thingamabobs That Do The Jobs".

I hope you enjoy these kits as much as I enjoyed making them. If you have any questions or comments about this site, or the kits, please email me at freshxs@hotmail.com.
